No matter how we measure, large ethnic pay gaps exist for Pacific women. Compared to all men, gender and ethnicity combine to create a pay gap of 15.8%.

Event open to all ages.
Participants 12 years & under must be accompanied by a parent, legal guardian, or responsible adult at all times during their participation in the Event & while on the Event site. This means that children 12 years or under must be accompanied by a guardian while running their yards. Which also means – the accompanying adult must be entered in the Event to be on course. Accompanying adult holds full responsibility for supervision & wellbeing of the entrant at all times.
Entrants under 18 must have the waiver found at registration completed & electronically acknowledged by a parent or legal guardian prior to registration being accepted. By doing so, the parent or guardian confirms they have read & agree to all terms contained in the waiver on behalf of the entrant.
Teams.
Teams & a collective effort are encouraged. Create a team of four & dial up the most number of yards you can all run to compete against other teams.
We’ll be putting a call out for final Team Lists in January. – & if you’d like to join a team message us & let us know.
Registration, refunds & payment.
Upon registration you’ll find terms & conditions & entrant waiver –This must be read & agreed to at checkout to enter the Outlet Backyard Ultra.
You will receive an email confirmation of your event registration immediately following payment from the Event Plus registration system. – All prices in NZ Dollars.
Refund Policy: Refunds of 75% are possible at any time due to pregnancy or serious illness.
Entries cancelled up to 4 weeks of the event will receive 75% refund.
Entries cancelled from 2 weeks to 4 weeks before this event have a 50% refund.
Entries cancelled less than 2 weeks before the event will receive no refund.
There are no transfers to other runners.
If this event is cancelled due to circumstances outside of event organisers control over 1 month before event date entrants will be offered a 75% refund.
If this event is cancelled less than 1 month before the event date, entrants will be offered a 50% refund or entry into the following year’s Outlet Backyard Ultra.
Upon registration you will be asked to acknowledge that you understand you are responsible for your own safety & wellbeing & will meet all of your own requirements & requirements of the Event organisers.
That you have read the Event rules & understand that a failure to follow event rules can result in disqualification.
